Engine would be very noisy, oil pressure gauge would show little or no pressure, warning light (if any) would be on about engine or oil.

I cant find the oil pump on a 2006 Nissan Altima

On both the four cylinder and six cylinder engines the oil pump runs off the crank shaft. The front cover and timing chain needs to removed in order to replace or repair the oil pump. It is not a very common repair. Is there a reason you are looking for it?

I have a 95 nissan altima and the oil ligth stays on for 15 seconds when its cold but then gos of, but then on stops lights it blinks.

1st I have to ask, it the oil clean and full, with a new filter? I know, it is. Just have to make sure.
2nd There is a sending unit for that vehicle that may be malfunctioning.
3rd you may have a weak oil pump. The only real test for this is to have your mechanic tap directly into the sending unit port with a manual oil pressure guage.
Obviously if the pum is bad it will need replacing which is unfortunately a costly venture.

Belt is broken

OK, now I understand. The belt goes around the alternator and water pump as well Just give the make and model to any auto parts store and ask for the alternator, power steering, water pump belt and they will know which one it is. If it helps, the Gates number is: K060525
