SOURCE: 2005 toyota corolla ce maint. required need to know how to reset.

To reset the system. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position with the odometer reading shown. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position while holding down the trip meter reset knob. Hold down the knob for at least 5 seconds. The odometer indicates "000000" and the light goes off. If the system fails to reset, the light will continue flashing.

SOURCE: Corolla kicks/jolts when shifting gears.

I am trying to understand your problem. Check engine mounts. Have a driver in the car, hood open. Start car, foot on brakes, shift from park to reverse and back again. Shift through all gears, look for unusual engine movements around engine mounts area. Left foot on brakes, press gas in drive and reverse;watch for excessive engine movements. Be careful as you perform these steps. You may also want to check drive axles. Keep me updated.

Try changing out your distributer cap and rotor button. Let me know if that solves your problem.

Dodge dakota doesnt move when gas is given

Transmission or torque convertor. The Dakotas have had a lot of problems. Our 2005 trans is in the process a complete rebuild right now due to a failure of a trans oil cooler line. The leak starved the planetary gears of fluid, causing them to seize up.

How to add r-134a to 2005 durango?

Hi!!

I am assuming that you already fixed the problem leading to have the leak. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T OVERFILL SYSTEM.

At your favorite auto parts you'll find a 134a gas refilling kit from which you can add gas to the system. It comes w/instructions, but I still want to give you some tips.

If the system is empty, with motor off, charge one can in and while charging the second one, start vehicle, turn A/C ON and set to MAX COOL. Step on gas to 2000 rpms.

If you just need to add some gas, start vehicle, turn A/C ON and set to MAX COOL, then, start adding the gas. Step on gas to 2000 rpms.

The connector of the filling kit fits only on the LOW side of the system, so don't worry about hooking it in the wrong place. Also, make sure the 134a can is standing straight up while charging system. Good luck.

1996 Corolla Auto Transmission problem

Hi. 2005 Corolla CE. It's normal. They tend to do this when upshifting form 1st to 2nd gear. No timing chain readjustment needed.

96 Corolla. Overdrive not working properly, if not engaging after 45mph constantly. If driving on the city, is normal, but not after 45mph, when the car is trying to engage overdrive in order to save gas and preserve the trans gears. If not able to get help at the dealership, find another one and explain them the situation.
