2011 Hyundai Elantra New transmission but vehicle runs in limp mode intermittently

As my old dad used to say "they must have seen you coming"! Are you, young, female, blonde and cute? :>D

Engine tick is caused by play in the valve lifters and is an easy repair. It may have been the timing chain, but.... "Elantra's new, maintenance-free silent timing chain enhances engine durability while reducing noise." In normal circumstances, tick is not a reason to put in a new engine.

It sounds like your issue is bad connectors to the ECU. They spraying the connectors with electrical switch cleaning spray.

If that doesn't work, you need a good auto electrician with a professional grade scan tool computer to diagnose the issue. These computers can record exactly what happens to put the vehicle into Limp Mode.

Have a 99 sonata stuck in 3rd gear have code p173 replaced auto trans relay stil have problem what should i do

fuel trim malfunction is po173,not transmission problem. This would be a fuel related problem, but the stuck in 3rd gear is,it maybe a stuck governor,or valve in the valve body, try a product called lube guard at napa,it works wonders.

2000 Hyundai elantra transmission delay, reverse going

Did you check the transmission fluid level? If necessary, add fluid. However you probably have a more serious problem. Take the car to a qualified transmission mechanic.

Describe your is there a sensor on a 2000 Hyundai elantra automatic transmission Problem

YES!... There are many sensors on an automatic transmission which could pose a problem -- depending on what the problem actually is. For example, there are 'input' and 'output' speed sensors, there is a fluid temperature sensor, there is a vehicle speed sensor, and there are several solenoid valves located inside the transmission connected to the valve body. Each and every one of these items can be a problem -- again -- depends on what the problem ACTUALLY is. Agreed?

6pin valve body trannny to 4pin using 6pin's TCM

First of all, which component(s) are you replacing? Only the valve body? If so, then there's something different about the one you took out compared to the one you're putting in - that can be dangerous! BEST SOLUTION: Replace/Install in the correct part at the beginning.

Reverse gear almost dead in 1998 Lantra auto..

You have a bad O-ring seal in the valve body of your transmission. The reason you barely move when you rev high, is because the trans fluid isnt going to the correct part of the valve body due to the bad seal. This should be a repair you can do yourself if you have any mechanical experience, OR a transmission shop may be able to rebuild the valve body for you.
