After turning over my truck gurgles like for gas but doesn't die it eventually levels out. And also sometimes it doesn't want to go when I press the gas pedal.

03 GMC Sierra SLT 1500. I have recently changed the plugs and wires and the fuel filter.

It sounds to me like your idle relief valve is malfunctioning. This little device pictured below does a lot of good things but is a pain when not functioning.

SOURCE: recently changed the fuel pump on 1996 gmc sierra 1500 . (2 weeks ago). truck dies on freeway. Restarted and got me home. wont start now. Got 55 fuel pressure fuel pump runs changed regulator and in l

SOURCE: 2003 gmc sierra 1500 truck. Starts , idle hard then dies after few sec, unable to push gas pedal to keep running. Fuel pump good changed fuel filter , ideas on what might be wrong?

I think that this is fuel pressure related, it could be any number of issues.

I had a similar experience a couple of times after filling my gas tank. In my case there was no backfire but an occasion misfire. The car would not rev-up quickly and would sometimes stall when it was first started. Adding a fuel boost/cleaner additive and when the fuel level was at 1/2 tank, filling it up with premium gas (at a different gas station), solved the problem.

Well the spark knock could be bad gas or the ignition timing could be off.
The gurgling is somewhat normal, unless the level of coolant is low in the engine, and there is too many air pockets.
If a head gasket were leaking, you would be loosing coolant out the exhaust pipe.

Just turns off on it's own, Wait 60 sec. restart press pedel it dies.

This engine is electronically controlled so the first thing that must be done here is to have the systems control computer tested for fault codes and then do the proper diagnostics based on those codes.

92 suburu svx it has wiring gremlins check engin light comes on sometimes but I lf I turn the car off and restart it, then it's gone. And gas gadge doesn't work sometimes come on. And no cruse...

The check engine light will set a code, to read this code you must have the system scanned with a special tool. This is not a wiring GREMLIN, trust me. As far as the gas gauge goes you will need to pull the fuel tank out and replace the gas gauge fuel level sending unit.

no its more than likely not related to the trans,if you are having shift problems though,i would have the tps(throttle position sensor) checked out.another thing to check is the vacume lines to and from the egr valve and the valve its self for proper operation.

Check you fuel pressure regulator.Pull the vacuum hose off the regulator and if you see any fuel run out of it then the regulator is bad.
