They are not qualified to repair a wheel barrow
your son is wasting his money and time dealing with them
the first test for overheating is a compression test to check for head gasket or cracked head/s
water pumps do not cause over heating as they are only water circulators
thermostats often do and if not installed correctly will still cause a problem
find yourself an accredited service center with experience on your make of vehicle and get a proper diagnosis and quote

Our 2000 Mustang continually needs to be battery jumped. Took to shop, they said not battery or starter. They said it's Ford car alarm that is draining battery. Now what?? How do I disconnect

If the shop could find the problem, why
can they not resolve it ?

Need a different shop, if there is such
a place these days, that can actually
fix something

Does the fuel inertia switch on a 2006 ford mustang gt reset automatically or does it require manual reset

Since this trips to prevent fuel from pumping in a collision, it is made to be manually reset. The device on a son's Ford used to trip occasionally on our rough easement. On his car it was located behind a panel in the trunk.

2006 JEEP WRANGLER 2 DOOR WITH 33'S SHAKES AT 45MPH. TOOK IT TO THE SHOP AND THEY SAID IT WAS A BAD TIRE. TIRES ONLY HAVE ABOUT 8000 MILES ON THEM

It HAS been known to happen before. I've put BRAND NEW tires on a vehicle to find that there was one who had a bad spot in it....the belt inside the tire was split and it made a flat spot FROM the factory

Right tail light on 2006 mustang remains on after car is shut.

Hi, I have the same issue with my 06 GT. other lights have done the same thing. of course the dealership says if they cant duplicate the problem, they cant do anything. I did talk to another mechanic at a "good" shop and he said it sounded like the BCM module ( body control module). I may put a new one in and see if that fixes it.
