On my 2001 Acura MDX, I had the rack and pinion, and right-side axle replaced 2 weeks ago. Now I noticed, when I accelerate suddenly, there's a bit of a vibration on the steering.

If the bare glass is needed to be replaced, there should be 4 screws. 2 on each side at the front and rear that needs to be removed. Should be fairly easy to access and remove from the inside with the roof closed.

Description:
Throttle Position (TP) Switch/Sensor B
Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Switch/Sensor B Range/Performance Problem
Possible Cause:
- Accelerator cable adjustment.
- Throttle position (TP) switch/sensor .
- Accelerator pedal position (APP) switch/sensor.
- Check valve clearance, adjust if required.

only driving , feet off brakes?

if the rack and pinion was not leaking or causing problems. then he may of made a wrong move! if the rack was fine before, and you just lost power steering. then it is most likely the power steering pump or the lines that go from rack to the pump. good-day ! if a rack goes bad, you will get a bad steering problem or just bad steering.

You will need to pull it ,and have it rebuilt. Need to be careful,because they usually don't touch the diff,on a trans axle rebuilt

I would get a reman from the dealer and have a shop R&R yours,then return the core.

I need more details. When the car stalls, does it start right up?? When it stalls does the speedometer drop to zero while in motion?? and is there any warning lights not lit when it stalls??
