If you have automatic climate control and you mean the AC compressor, that is normal if the ambient temperature is above 40 degF. If there is an AC button on your climate control panel, you should be able to override it with that.

Push both OFF and WARM buttons together (and hold for 5 sec.) on the A/C control panel. Read what codes appear . It can be cleared by pushing OFF and HI the same way. Hope this helps

This should be a a HT-4100 engines. Distributor rotation is counter-clockwise. The driver bank is 1-3-5-7. The passenger bank is 2-4-6-8 from the front of the car. The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. Just like a small block chevrolet
