Sounds like its the electric window motor.behind the door panel. Not sure about a Jag but it took me long time in my Cutlas just getting at it. Should be fairly reasonable price for the part but the labor will a hefty charge.

Sounds like bad window regulator.
If you get lucky you can spray silicone in the window run channels. That won't fix regulator but it could help a weak motor move it up.
If you broke the side view mirror off and caused this then your channel is bent and needs straightened

You cannot just lift the seat up you will have to Remove the entire seat Itself. Most seats on newer vehicles are removed by four bolts. you will see them if you roll the seat all the way back in the front then all the way forward remove those bolts and you can get under your seat

Forward push while stopping Jaguar S-Type 2005 model.
This is sometimes called the lurch, disconnect the battery for 30 mins to re-set the "memory" in the gearbox, this should solve your problem, the gearbox will re-learn your driving style. Make sure you have your radio code before you disconnect.

Windows keep rolling down on my 2005 Nissan Titan. Anybody had that happen? How do you fix it?
Do you have global opening whre you can hold down your "Unlock" button on your remote and have all the windows open?

Look for water getting into a connector, usually in the wiring in the drivers door. Remove the door trim panel & check the connectors. report back

2000 jaguar s-type driver window will not roll up or down. How do I remove the door panel to put the window back on its track?
On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Pull back the weather seal and you'll be able to see the motor, regulator, guide rails

Passenger window fell down into the door, need to know how to fix, car is 2001 Jaguar S-Type was able to take off panel and fix so its up but we cant roll it up or down, motor is fine its palstic parts...
u need new motor and regulator the parts are out and cannot be fixed to reliable state, most likely u will have to drill out rivets and then screw in new regulator, not a job for inexperienced some skill u can do it, get after market repair book such as chilton's and it will show diagrams and steps on how to do the repair
