If the horn fuse is ohk then replace the clock spring

(SRS) Safety Restraint System----- air bags etc

Same as any check light

Take to a repair shop to have it
checked for codes,diagnosed and repaired
as needed

Take it to the dealer, or your local mechanic, tell them you need a new steering wheel clock ring, they'll know what you mean.

there should also be a srs light on the dash illuminated?! the problem is the clock spring behind the steering wheel. happy holidays

SRS light, horn and cruise control not working... need help?

Most likely the clock spring assembly which the wires run through for airbag, cruise switches and horn button. Requires steering wheel removal to access part.

Srs lights on

safety restren system air bag problem have to get the car on a scanner to see the problem that the only thin g you can do now you can still drive the car but the air bag wont work

1999 honda civic lx automatick

there is a wiring problem with some of them the wire shorts under the intake manifold that runs to the alternater. also the alternator on them seam to have a mind of their own and only work when they HAVE to and test good when load tested replace alt if the wires arent shorted

These are the classic symptoms of a defective ribbon coiled contact under the steering wheel called the Clock Spring (also called a Cable Reel) being defective, one or more of the circuits on the ribbon coil is open, this is a very common failure.
