The Engine coolant temp sensor would ABSOLUTELY cause a hard start, but don't guess get the codes check again at Auto_Zone to make sure. Another cause of that kind of hard start is a dirty throttle body/ intake manifold. Use INTAKE cleaner and a rag clean the intake esp[eciall in the throttle body area. Good Luck

SOURCE: 1996 jeep grand cherokee odometer stopped working

make sure the contection on the back of your odometer is connected and is the cable connected to the transmission. If so might be the cable inside lube it with some WD-40 and should start working again.
Main thing to check are the connections.

My 96 jeep grand cherokee keeps dieing when it gets hot

My first question would be, do you know if the cooling fan is coming on ? ?
The computer can shut down the engine if it reaches 250 or 260 degrees. You could also have a coil or other electrical part that is failing when hot.

My 2002 jeep grand cherokee when the weather goes above 100 degree it starts to stall went i stop at a red light or stop sign.

Hmm ... this sounds like a classic case of vapour lock. If the temp gauge does not go up (Which could indicate a bad head gasket, a clogged radiator, a dead fan, a bad water pump), then what is most likely happening, is that the gas is getting hot enough to boil, and is doing just that: Which makes it impossible for air and more gas to be drawn through it, effectively suffocating the engine.

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0L engine... the temperature only rises to about 150 degrees and stops... sometimes lowers a bit even at highway speeds. Normal operating temp is about 210-215 degrees. ...

The thermostat controls the temp of the engine. The temp sensor tells the gauge what temp to display. If the heater is still putting out a lot of heat then it may be a false reading temp gauge. If however the temp is noticibly cooler then replace the thermostat. A stuck open thermostat would also cause the engine to warm up slowly. check for a loose/dirty connection at the plug on the temp sensor.

My Jeep Cherokee 95 Radiator temperature is always hot

100 degrees f? That is way too cold Either you have the wrong thermostat or it is wide open. 180 degrees is nominal and give you the best performance.. With AC on, expect 190 to 200 degrees. We are talking farhrnheit and not ccelsius, correct?
