according to a trusty repair program 210 ft/lb

is there power to the cd changer possible fuse is the head unit connected to the changer check wiring is there a jamed cd in changer try disconnecting battery and reattach to reset unit if all this fails the unit is goosed

CD & DVD players are among the least reliable of all electronics and prohibitively expensive to repair because of the labor involved with removal and re-installation in a vehicle.Also, the transport mechanism that is causing your problem is not even likely to be available after 6 years.I highly recommend replacing with a new stereo and, if you are of faith, praying a little that the new one will last as long as the original.

A 1 DIN stereo is what came stock in your vehicle. A 2 din stereo is double the height of a 1 DIN stereo, but the same width.

Replacing the CD player as it may have become defective and is cheaper to replace than repair

The earlier Honda models have a Mitsubishi DVD player for the SAT NAV Disk, ...and the 09 Models have different (Alpine DVD Player) thus earlier player will not read the later disks.
Solution is to obtain a updated disk produced for the Mitsubishi DVD player whih are available from Honda,(at a price)

I have a 2002 honda accord with the 6 disc cd changer. I beleve the cd changer has jamed and have lost power to the CD player. When I press the CD button it wont recognise the player. Any suggestions

it can be fixed. if you have the audio unit out of the vehicle bring it to a honda dealer and it can be sent out for repair.

hello ther have you chekt the fuses if the have just puld the dvd player out a broken cabel can have toucht the body and chort surcet somthing
