Auto Zone, Advance and other parts stores have free loaner pullers and other tools. You pay a deposit until it is returned

2002 Pontiac grand am suddenly stopped running while driving now just hums when trying to start

run fault codes and check for cam/crank position sensor fault. check that the cam shaft is turning over ( broken timing belt) The whistling sound is probably air from compression escaping past bent valves.

Where is the power steering resivoir on a 2001 Pontic Grand Prix?

with the hood open on the passenger side back edge of the motor straight down you should see the resivoir cap getting your hand down to it is another question i suggest cheking it cold because your arm will more than likely be pressed up against the heater hoses and outlet hope this helps

knocking? or pecking? check the knock sensor but if it is a hard knock sorry to say but you have a bad crank shaft and worn bearings

Crank shaft sesor/cam sensor problem?

If you had a fault with the crank sencer your car would not start.Sounds like the air flow meter is giving you the problems.

if its a zetec engine its probably a coil pack gone down,but you dont say if its petrol or diesel,if it was a cranksensor failure it wouldnt start at all...

You have more than one. The 7x sensor is on back side of engine block, down low. two wire connector.
