When the window is not used often or gets a little older the motor can "Hang Up" You might try having someone hold the down switch on the drivers door while you slam the door. This will sometimes jar the motor enough to make the brushes contact and start working.

SOURCE: Installing exterior driver side and passaner side door handles

I found this on another page, hope it helps:)

Remove the plastic cover behind the door handle assembly by removing one black 14mm nut from just above the door handle, and 1 screw (usually phillips) from the bottom of the plastic cover.
Remove linkages from lock cylinder and door handle assembly. Use a small flathead screwdriver to slide retaining clips forward, and linkages will come free.
Remove one black 14mm nut from the very top of the door handle assembly.
Remove one phillips screw drom the bottom of the door handle assembly.
Door handle assembly should now come free by pulling out slightly at the top, and pulling upwards.
Transfer lock cylinder and key minder light (if applicable) to new door handle assembly. Lock cylinder is retained by a single TORX bolt.
Reinstall in reverse.
TIP: If you lose or damage any of those black plastic coated nuts, order new ones. They are GM p/n 10067214 and should be around $0.58/each. There are two on each door.

How to flush a heater core in a pontiac grand prix 2002

If you have warm air on one side and cool on the other, you've a situation with the vent flaps. But to backflush the core, take both hoses off the core and run a garden hose to the outlet side going towards the water pump. This will flush it.

Hron does not work, fuse ok 06 grand prix ,wher is the horn relay

Normally these are on the fender wells in the engine bay, underneath a plastic vanity cover. If I had to guess I would say the driver side. On the bottom side of that cover sometimes there will be a sticker location of the relays, because they will all be the same size and color.

2002 grand prix. Heater blows cold on passenger side. Driver side and two middle vents blow hot, the other two vents blow cold.

ether the blend door actuator is bad or the climate control module is failing. most likely the blend door actuator. would have to pull most of the under dash out to get to it to replace it. not fun at all.

My 2002 grand prix a/c is only throwing out cold air on passenger side but not the driver side..what could be the problem?

sounds like your tube for your vents has a clog in it dose the passenger side have alot of air or lite air coming out. if it has lite air coming out the tube for the vents has broke. alot of air you have a clog in your tube.

My 99 grand prix air condition only gets gold on the passenger side and blows hot air through the left three air vents.

same motor for all vents, try changing the filter for the ac,its located under the hood, in between the firewall and under the black plastic wiper cover on the left hand side. Remove it first to see if it works, if it does replace it. If it doesnt work or blow more air the fan might be going bad. I have 2 grandprix and that was the issue with mine.

Ac vent problem

Damper/flap for driver's side is probably stuck. Try moving the selector from cold to hot several times. Also, move the recirc/outside air control if the previous doesn't work.

You would need to buy a factory service manual for that blend door diagram. Try eBay for a used manual set.

A/C issue with 99 Grand Prix

Check the ac filter, it might be dirty and thats why it is not blowing out enought cold air. The filter is located under the wiper cover but behind the firewall on the passengers side. You access this by lifting the hood and removing the rubber type gasket that holds both together, right on top of the blower unit.
