SOURCE: power window fell down inside door

there are clips holding the door panel around the edges. to remove the clips, use a small screwdriver to feel for them, then use another one to pull the panel on the other side. Pull outward from both sides of the clip until it comes loose. Do this repeatedly, and then loosen and remove the arm rest.

Pull the window up and have a helper hold it as you work it back into the track.

Good luck.

SOURCE: 98 saturn sl1 won't start

If the problem occurs after the car has been driven long enough to reach normal operating temperature, the problem is the starter. If the 'no crank' occurs cold, retest the battery.

SOURCE: I have a 2006 Saturn Ion. It started running

You can by a new Coil pack from Auto Zone for less then the dealer's cost and Auto Zone can give you the step by step instructions for you to replace the coil pack free of charge and will take about 1 hour if your good with common tools. Auto Zone also can scan your car for DTC codes Free of charge to ensure that it's the coil pack. The other common problem that will also seam like a bad coil pack is a bad ignition module which is what I  am leaning towards since it's three of the cylinders you mentioned, most of the time it's just one of the two coils that will go bad which would only make two of the cylinders go dead. Check the wires to the electronic module first and then the switch the coils and see if the same two cylinders are still dead, if the same cylinders are still dead. Good chance that it's going to be the module and if the other two cylinders go dead and the dead ones come alive then it's going to be the coil pack. Good luck and here is a you-tube link to the ignition module and coil pack replacement procedure. keep me posted, be glad to know you got your car running 100% again . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XgHM1i5jK8

What would cause a a 2006 Saturn Ion Base 2.2L manual to have reduced power and a blinking MIL?

You most likely have a cylinder mis-fire. Usually a bad spark plug or ignition coil/ignition wire. Check the codes to determine what cylinder is causing the misfire and repair a necessary

Battery light came on while driving. 2 hours later I could not start the car.

Sounds like a bad alternator. Boost vehicle and when running disconnect positive on battery, if shuts down probably alternator no good, replace.

I have a 2006 saturn ion-2 the battery keeps dying and wont stay charged. Whats going on with it?

If the battery is new, and you are sure it is ok, either the alternator is not charging the battery or there is something in the car that is using power when the key is off.
You could disconnect the battery at night to see if it stays charged, and-or have the alternator output checked.

1997 saturn replaced battery(new) dead in 2 days...car will start with a boost...but will run only for awhile until completely dead battery...alternator replaced(rebuilt)..no lights have been left on...

When the car is running check the voltage at the battery. You should see 14 volts. If you see around 12 volts or less the alternator is not charging.

I have a 2003 saturn ion and the battery light is on, does this mean the alternator is going and the car is running on battery power?, the lights, radio, wipers etc are working.

yes if its on when the car is running your alternator may not be charging. You can check with a voltmeter at the alternator when the car runs if you have about 14 volts it works if its only 12.6 and less it doesn't
