I have a 2005 Volvo s40. and the passenger side windows have stopped working as has the central locking on passenger side. I have checked the fuse for the doors and windows which I believe is #,82

does passenger mean right side (LHD) or left on Right hand side car(RHD)?????? no country told so know drive side guessed.
Front doors, not rear.
F18,feeds
f83 left and f82 right.
a window can fail for many reasons, bad
window motor RDM or jammed up guides at window
the PDM right side bad.
the switchs right side bad
grounds at right door motor bad. 31/116 (G)

the master door control send network commands to right side door.
there are 4 major components in just the right door front.
why not scan the PCM first (OBD2) port for DTC errors
from right door. front.? that be 2nd step after fuses.

• PWR WDO CB 25A (IP wiring harness junction block) (System power for RF and RR windows 4-door vehicles)

Door Lock System Components
The power door lock system consists of the following components:
• The driver door module (DDM)
• The passenger door module (PDM)
• The body control module (BCM)
• The driver information center (DIC)
• The rear door lock switch

Fuse location for door locks

That fuse 4 door lock is#4. Fuse box drive's side, under dash. Looking at box, the TOP row, left to right, 1st fuse is #1, then #2, 3, #4 is ur power lock fuse. #5 is Remote keyless entry. #4 needs 15amp, & #5 is 20amp fuse. I hope that helps.

My citrion c8 boot is locked. The side door have to opened and shut manually. The passenger door doesn't lock when locking drivers side. The hone doesn't work. Please can anyone help?

sounds like a fuse, check EVERY fuse before ruling it out as the problem. anything else is going to the garage and they will charge you if it ends up being a fuse

S reg vauxhall corsa 1998 central locking has stopped working

https://manuals.co/workshop/opel/corsa/opel-corsa-1997-2000-workshop-manual-haynes/5530701/3

You might have just blown the fuse, otherwise it could be the control module wiring has been damaged.
Check tthe wiring in the manual above.

Problem with electric windows and mirrors not working on corsa sxi 2002

  • If you open the drivers door and take notice of that harness that stretches between the door frame and the door. If their is a boot slide it to one side and then the other side and if their is no boot slice the harness open lengthwise.

  • What your looking at is the wires in that harness. Them wires are the power feed (and ground) for the different electronics inside the cabin ie door lock, chimes, windows, dome lights, etc. Look for split, pinched, bulging, rusted wires or wires with negated insulation. Splice a new wire into the area where the wire[s] are broke off and re-insulate.

  • This is a common problem with most vehicles across the board. Over time, due to placement of the harness, the wires begin to crack and dry out and get pinched. Broken wires is almost always the problem with a problem such as yours.

  • If you have any comments please feel free to leave them here.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Regards, Tony

Sunroof will not work

Power is supplied to the Power windows and sunroof through the power window circuit breaker. That circuit breaker is supplied power through the RAP (retained accessory power) Relay, the RAP relay also supplies power to the radio. The RAP relay is also fuse protected by the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block. The RAP relay is energized by the BCM body control module.

The RAP relay is responsible for the radio and windows working after the igntion is turned off.

The first place to check would be the RAP fuse in the under hood fuse block and then the RAP relay in the Body fuse block.

A list of the BODY relay block located on the left side of the dash to the right of the interior fuse block is below:

(1) Park Lamp Relay (2) Courtesy Lamp Relay (3) Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Relay (4) Power Seats Circuit Breaker (5) Power Windows Circuit Breaker (6) Inadvertent Power Relay (7) Door Lock Relay (8) Headlamp Ground Relay (9) Driver Door Unlock Relay (10) Door Unlock Relay(1) Park Lamp Relay

(3) Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Relay

Driver side door switches are not working. Dome

My power locks, windows didn't work and the dome lights would not turn off after closing the door. I removed the black boot that was attached to the drivers door by lifting upward and pulling away from the door. A heavy gauge black wire was broken. I removed about 3/16" of insulation from both ends of the broken wire and connected them by using a connector that both ends are placed in to and then "crimped" both ends so the broken wire made contact with each other and everything worked perfectly! The hardest part was replacing the boot. Total cost to fix is $0.50.
