SOURCE: what does the code po606 mean on a 2001 volkswagen

ECM/PCM Processor malfunction. The 2 corrective actions are either "Check terminal resistance for CAN-Bus" or the bad one, "Replace Motronic Engine Control Module."

As for the first one, if you remove the center dash panel, then, assuming you have Torx scredrivers, remove the panel in front of the speedometer, plus the cover under there, you can make sure that the cables are securely attached. Hopefully that will fix it. If not, you will need to get a new computer for the car. You could try the online vendors, but might have to go to the dealership to get everything matched up correctly. The replacing part is easy, just a few screws holding the unit in place.

My 2006 chrysler 300 seatbelt chime wont shut off even tho all seatbelts are fastened

Look under the seat and see if the plug is unplugged to the switch. You may have a break in the wire as when you click your seat belt together it completes the ground and turns the chime off.

6 chimes when starting

these chimes are in fact warning codes, these chimes are telling you there is a problem, It may be a connection problem in your seat belt warning system to a serious engine problem, your dealer will know just by the tune it plays but check your seat belt first and then the dash warning lights

How to stop the chime on seatbelt on 2005 dodge dakota

Are you wearing your seatbelt when it chimes? If not, wearing your seatbelt will shut the chime off. If it chimes when you have it on, the switch inside the seatbelt locking mechanism may not be functioning properly, and the mechanism may need replaced. Look at the wiring next to your seat and follow the wires that leave the locking mechanism. They travel under the seat and plug into a wiring connector near the rear of the seat. Make sure it is plugged in and check the wires for damage.
