The 1192 code is only a OBD11 code.
1192 could have been cause by bad alt or bad battery cell. Try clearing the code and see if it comes again. You may need to buy a new battery.
Installing the full-size Blazer trans into the S-10 would be safer. As long as they came off of the same size engine then yes, they will interchange. But.... the trans off of the S-10 is not built as strong as the trans for the full-sized Blazer, clutch capacity is less, band servo may have smaller apply area, and torque convertor stall speed may different enough to set a "code". Towing capability would be compromised. I have no idea what you meant by the "bolt for the plate".
There are two different ratios for a S10 Blazer,a 3.42(GU6) and a 3.08(GU4).Look in your glove box for a GM option codes.Look for a GU6 or GU4 code for the type of ratio you have.Hope this helps.
