99 honda civic 6.1L

New plugs ,bew coil ,and coil modular .the car will crank right up every hit,idles for 5mins .or so .shuts off..driving .org will shut off,.will not crank after it shuts off for 30mins to hr.then .org eill fire rite up drive for a few mins shutsoff..put tester on it does not show any thing.what could .net the problem? Please help iv spent a good bit on .this car im single mom and need my car to run right.please any suggesgions woild be greatly appreciat. Thanks

Change your ignition module. The distributor is a weak point of the Honda, I will always change out the whole thing than just try the coil.

could have bad ignition coil or check for power at ignition coil could have blowed fuse or ignition timing off,make sure the distributor cap and rotor are new or in good shape if rotor bad worn out you wont get spark at spark plugs.

You are dealing with a misfire you will need to check cap rotor spark plug and wires, and inspect the coil.
