the prop shaft is what transfers drive from gearbox to the axle and then the wheels so removing it would be a ridiculous thing to do as vehicle would'nt be able to move !!!!!!!!!!!!!

try any and all the big auto parts stores if they don't have it they can order it for you specific year and make of car usually cost around $20.00 if you have no money check one out of the library.
