SOURCE: radiator cool, engine temp = 140

sounds like your radiator is clogged, it will bring problems to you soon, you need to flush it really good, i dont think you need to replace it but it sounds like a typical clogged radiator, have it flushed, it you cant ur gonna need to replace it soon, if you keep running that car it might lead you to a temp problem while runing and u might end up hurting your engine...
u also need to check if your thermostat is working properly. go on google and look for the procedure, ur gonna have to take it off and do a test with hot water and a thermometer and see if its working properly.
hope this helps.
have fun!

SOURCE: When my car warms up the heater blows out warm but

It may be the valve that controls the amount of water entering heating core but I'm wondering if your engine thermostat isn't stuck open. This is what controls the coolant temperature in your engine. It closes off while engine is off. It will remain closed after you start your car until the water warms to a certain temperature then it starts to open enough to keep your car at the proper operating temperature. If it stick open then it will take a lot longer for the engine to heat up and on smaller cars might never heat up enough for your heater. If you live in very cold climates such as where I live in Wyoming, we have to change to a higher degree thermostat so we have a good heater when it's 30 below zero.

Be very cautious here but one way you can check this is to put a piece of cardboard in front of your radiator and stop the airflow that cools your engine coolant. THIS WILL CAUSE YOUR CAR TO HEAT UP AND CAN CAUSE ENGINE DAMAGE IF IT OVERHEATS. Don't completely cover the radiator but if your heater warms up when you put the cardboard in front of radiator it's a good sign that your thermostat is stuck open and needs to be replaced.

My heater won't blow warm air if i am parked only when the car is moving

If your engine temp reads warm then your heater core is clogged. Try flushing the system. If it reads cold then u need a new thermostat

I have a 94 buick park avenue and the shifter stopped engaging the transmission. I had to manuver it home in drive and the turn off the vehicle. the shifter is in park but the indicator shows it in drive.

Is it just the indicator that stopped working? If you can still shift through the gears then I wouldn't spend the money fixing the indicator.
thank you,

Please describe your my blower works in my 1999 windstar but it wont get warm problem

If your not getting any heat out of the vents and the blower motor is working than the first thing to do is check the coolant level. If it is low the first thing to stop working is the heat.

If its full than make sure the engine is coming up to temp. The temp gauge should read around 200 degrees F. when the engine is up to full operating temp.

If the those two are o.k. that make sure you hear a difference in air flow out of the vent when you switch the heat selector from full cold to full hot. If you hear no difference than you may have a blend door or blend door actuator problem.

If all that checks out than the last thing may be a plugged heater core. Especially if the coolant is muddy looking (really common with fords). Back flushing the heater core may help or cure the problem.

1999 Jeep Wrangler - 4cyl - 5 speed. Where do I start if my heater is not getting hot. Really doesn't get warm. Just blows out cool air. Side note: This is my 3rd winter with this Jeep and it's never...

The temp reading on the dash is a very big clue... Likely the thermostat (at the end of the large top radiator hose inside the metal housing) is stuck open. When that happens, the coolant in the engine never reaches full temp. Not only can that result in a low heat condition but it can also give you poor fuel mileage as the computer always thinks the engine is cold and therefore it adds extra fuel to keep it running.
Replace with a 195 degree(f) thermostat, run the engine (with the heater on full heat) to nearly normal temp, turn it off and wait about three minutes, then re-start and continue filling. Once full, add whatever is necessary to the recovery bottle and close it up and check for leaks.

What is the check gauges light

CHECK GAGES light (1) indicates a potential engine failure(low oil pressure, low coolant, coolant overheating) has occurred.
· Check gages and shut down engine. Gages should read as follows: Oil pressure 5 to 10 psi (34 to 69 kPa) at idle; Water Temp gage below 230 degrees (110 C).
· Check engine oil level (Para 2-11) if OIL PRESS gage indicates low reading. Check coolant level (Para 2-11) if Water Temp gage indicates high reading. Notify Unit Maintenance if levels are low.

If CHECK ENGINE light (2) is on, check engine oil pressure gage (3) and water temperature gage (4). If both indicate normal, proceed with mission and then notify Unit Maintenance. If either one does not indicate normal, stop engine immediately and notify Unit Maintenance

2003 park Ave running warm. possible bad rad fan relays?

the simplest way to check a relay is to swap it with a relay from somthing that you know works (eg. starter, or horn) if that item still works after the swap then the relay is good.
