there is a clip that hold in the handle.you need to pop it out with a 90 degree pick tool

ABOVE THE OIL FILTER ON THE 2.4 ENGINE AND THE 3.1 AND 3.4 ENGINE CRANKSHAFT SENSOR LOCATED BEHIND CRANKSHAFT PULLEY.

SOURCE: How do you remove the front crank shaft pully from

it undoes normal way but its tight as its a taper end on crank and no keyway so dont hammer it off with the starter motor and a big bar locked into the suspension.You will have to use a special tool to lock the crank in position ,the other way i do it when i dont have all the tools is to slacken timing belt and then remove the camshaft ,then i undo it with the big bar and the starter motor ,to do it up without the right locking tool i jam a big screwdriver into flywheel by removing the metal plate on the bottom of the bell housing and jam it up ,the torque on this type of arrangement is something like 150 lbs which is a lot if its not tight enough the pulley can move a bit with use and bang goes a piston and valves ,got the teashirt
