I have a 1994 caprice,the ignition is stuck in

No.
It could be a damaged lock cylinder, or the ignition switch.
You can disconnect the switch to see if the lock will move.

My 1994 cavalier lost spark to cylinders 1 and 4. Which components are directly related to ignition spark and timing? What about the camshaft sensor?

You listed all the components involved in spark timing and control- coil, ignition module, pcm, wires, plugs, crank sensor, and cam sensor.
Cylinders 1 and 4 have the same coil for both, so concentrate on that coil. You still have a good blue spark on cylinders 2 and 3? If you have spark there, I don't know about the cam sensor-I think it would be good if it works at all. You need to check if you have 12 volts power to the coil for 1 and 4.

Ignition locked in off position

If the key is stuck in the ignition and won't allow you to turn the cylinder to "On" or "Start" you can try gently and rapidly tapping on the end of the key [with something like a light screwdriver handle] while applying gentle turning pressure on the key. Often the tumblers in the cylinder get dirty or are damaged and this trick will sometimes get the thing to work a few times more. Hope this helps and good luck!

My wife tried to to start her 2004 cavalier with the wrong key, and now the ignition will not turn with the right key

Hello foxrider.
Chances are when the wrong key was put in it may have damaged the lock tumblers.
The lock cylinders on these cars are enough of a problem using proper keys. Not very well made to begin with.
You could try a very light oil such as WD40 to lubricate the tumblers in case 1 may be stuck up into the barrel of the cylinder and gently run the key in and out several times.
Jiggling the key inside the cylinder will sometimes loosen them up too.
If you do get it working it may be a good idea to replace the cylider and key soon as it may fail you again.
I hope you succeed in getting it to turn, otherwise it may be a job for a locksmith.
Good luck with it.

Put some pressure on the steering wheel in one direction or the other this may take the pressure off the cylinder itself and allow you to do what is needed...hope this works.
