First time removed + battery cable worked. second time did not work, tried holding key in on position for 10 mins. flashing dash lights but no start. Is it a bad ground connection or ignition sensor?
You never remove the + battery cable , unless you remove the negative first .
it is actually neg that u want to remove when u work on your car, when you remove the neg cable the whole car cannot make a connection or short, there are parts of the car that hold juice, once you remove the negative cable there is no path for current to travel.
look at it this way, most all metal in the car is the ground and pull the ground cable at the battery and there is no circuit.
there are older cars that were positive chassis, complete opposite, but thru electrolysiss the metal quickly deteriorated.
trust me remove the negative cable, not the positive.
the best thing people could do is make a quick disconnect for the neg. terminal for service.
Your best bet , take your vehicle to a qualified ASE certified repair shop . Would not want you to hurt youself , batteries can explode with sparking when hooking up a battery .
