SOURCE: DRL and High Beam do not work right on Honda Accord EX 1998

Some time back I found some data on a similar website suggesting that the Day Light Running circuit board, just under the steering column, developed cracks in some of the soldered joints. Your high beams should also be affected with loss of day light running lights.
Resoldering repaired the continuity of the circuits. Ours is now working quite reliably. Some of the defective areas developed slight brownish discoloration, that's how I was told to recognise the areas to be resoldered. Hope this will help you solve your problem.

SOURCE: What does orange/yellow light indicator

Means that the recirculation feature is ACTIVE. What this does is take the cabin cooled air, and re-cool it again, using very little fresh air from the outside, and allowing the air conditioner to work much cooler and efficient. Not advisable if you have a full load of passengers, and absolutely recommendable if you are going through long tunnels, or behind vehicles with visible tailpipe smoke. Keep me posted.

SOURCE: High beam headligts will not come on + no dash

Hi Pete, I just come from the auto electrician and I have a Mazda 3 SP23 2008 and the high beam is not working, the globes are fine and the column switch is working and the low beam, parking lights, dash lights, internal fuses, reverse lights, rear lights are working. Just the power is not getting to the fuses underneath the glove box (internal fuse box) any suggestions? cheers Kim

DASH LIGHT FOR HIGH BEAM STUCK ON EVEN WITH CAR OFF?

Looks like the dimmer switch is built into the combo turn signal wiper switch on the column.
I would unplug that switch and see if the indicator light goes off.
If it does the problem may be inside the combo switch.

My head lights don t work. they were working fine, I simply pulled in the driveway, on the level twisted to shut them off, and attempted to put the lights on again, and now head lights. High beams work...

There are several things involved here. The combination switch (headlight, dimmer, turn signal switch), The headlamp relay and the dimmer relay. It could be a bad switch or a stuck relay.

I have a dodge intrepid Es, the indicator sometime works and then just freezes. The windshild wripers sometimes have a speed of their own and the high beams don't stay clicked on. I have a feeling there is...

You have a faulty multi-function switch, it controls the turn signal/hazard, headlight beam selector and the wiper/washer switch.

Also, for the frozen turn signal ligths, need to replace the flasher unit located under left end of the instrument panel. Need to remove under panel cover to access it. It is rectangular in chape and black in color.

Good Luck!!!
