I have a 1988 Dodge Dynasty that acts like it's vapor locking.

yes fuel pump is dying (it's old ) it will finnaly give up the ghost some day soon then engine won't run at all

common problem pump heats up and shuts off cools off and runs again cyclic

this all assumes you have kept up on changing the fuel filter at reg intervals too

The Alarm keeps going off , previous owner cut the horn wires so that part doesnt work but the lights just randomly start blinking and going on and off and cant cut it off. remote key chain is no longer...

The day time running light module on the back side of the front drivers fender likely needs to be replaced to fix your problem.Unplug it and the lights will work normally from the headlight switch but the day time running lights won,t work and also the high beam indicator light in the dash won,t come on when you switch to high beam but all the lights will work properly. You should replace the drl module as soon as you can but unplugging it will at least keep you from having to remove a battery cable.

Dodge dynasty, change relay switch, change fuel pump. car will not stay running

Have you tried taking a fuel sample? Next I would time the amount of running the engine does to see if it is consistent with a timer. Some vehicles have a startup circuit and then a run circuit built into the engine module. It is possible for the run circuit to be burned out. It will start, but then die when it changes circuits.

Heater on 1993 dodge dynasty

Make sure the hoses aren't plugged up before you start tearing things apart. Also check any fuses or relays. The relays are in the engine compartment on the left side just above the battery. If you pop open that lid on the plain unmarked black box, it will tell you what each relay is for. Hope this helps.

1990 dodge dynasty 3.3 engine starts fine but a second later dies changed gas filter and fuel pump and regulator still don't stay started.

Same thing happened to my '89 Dynasty. Turns out the security system was engaged and this stops the motor from running; therefore. a thief cannot drive away with the car! The system is set by using the power locks or an autolock fob, but not by locking manually. Disconnecting the battery will also engage the security system. To disengage, close the driver or passenger (front) door and turn the key in the lock.
