Why wont my key come out of my 2010 300 after I trid that was suggested

sounds like your battery is dead try jumping it

on some cars there is a key locking mechanism as part of the immobiliser process. In these vehicles key problems can be associated with battery faults . have a load test done on the battery as it may be failed from a bad cell or cold weather.

first suggestion is to check the battery condition in your key as it may not be working the engine immobiliser.

Should be behind the coin holder on the bottom edge of the dash. You may have to remove the lower panel under the steering wheel to access it.

Open the hood,,, disconect both battery cables,, let it sit for 10 minn ,,,,,,conect the battery cables,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, then,,,,,,,,,
Lets try unlocking the lift gate with the key ,,,, move key back and forth 3 times. this should reset the system

The ringing/dinging only started last friday, so its not when i put the key in it. Its a fast ringing and when i take the key out it does it for like 45 seconds

Did you adjust just the brakes or the cable to? The brake cable should have an adjustment nut that can be turned

Try disconnecting the battery cable for a few minutes. This may clear the security code and allow the normal key to operate. The sensor in your tire may have gotten damaged when it was repaired (this is not uncommon). The solution, take it to a tire store, they can change the sensor if needed.
