No sound coming through speakers.. (navigation, Bluetooth, radio or CD player).. screen looks like it's working but no sound.. already checked the fuse.. it's a 2010 Volvo XC90.. help?:).

Check the fuse to the amp, not to the deck or head unit. The amp protection fuse may actually be attached to the amp itself.

Test the battery voltage, a low bat voltage can cause this on 2010 models

SOURCE: radio display reads off for 2002 s40 volvo/cd player wont work

Hello there. I have a Volvo V70 that I bought recently and it had the same problem. I left the ignition switched on for about two hours and after that time the reading had changed from OFF to Code. I then entered the code and Hey Presto It worked. When I purchased the car it too had no code. I went to a Volvo Dealership, with proof of ownership of the vehicle i.e. Log Book and proof of ID , I used my Passport, and they gave me the radio code. The only dowside was I had to pay them £10 for this code but I feel it was worth it. I suggest you try this too. Good Luck.

How can I add bluetooth to my 2009 :'( acadia so I can answer phone calls while I'm driving

Hello Robby Clark,

Look up Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.3
(as I recall about $600 to add hands free Bluetooth).

I have found a couple of opportunities...
by going onto Crutchfield.com...

You put in your vehicle specifics... and what you are trying to accomplish... a lot of AFTER-MARKET radio opportunities present...

In my case MY STOCK RADIO NAVIGATION SYSTEM... touch-screen VIDEO... w/THX (theater sound) was already pretty nice...

No sound from speakers

Possibilities are:
Disconnected cables
Fuse
Short cut from radio to the speakers
You may have to take the radio off and look and see and if is not it, you have to test the speakers as well the lines one by one with a tester

There is no sound coming from the speakers, not even the bluetooth. The volume control on the steering wheel and the knob also doesn't work. The radio, cd & dvd player work fine.

So everything is coming on but you have no sound from anything? If that is the case you may want to check the amp fuse. The car has a factory amp i'm trying to remember i think it is in the trunk.Look in your owners manuel for the fuse box location. If the fuse is good then the factory amp may be bad.Or you may have a blown speaker that is showing a short and putting the amp into protect. If the amp and or speakers are bad i highly recommend just buying after market speakers/amp.The price for the factory equipment is very high and there labor rates even higher lol.Plus if properly installed you will noticed better sound from the after market stuff as long as you get brand name equipment.Go to a well trusted audio shop in your area they should be able to see if it is a speaker or amp problem if your fuses are all good. They should be able to test the impedance of the speakers at the amp for you and see what is going on.
