SOURCE: FILLING UP THE FREON IN MY 2000 NISSAN MAXIMA SE

2000 maxima is filled with R134, not freon. You don't need retro fit kit. Get couple of cans of R134 and pump it into the low side valve /small fiting, while A/C compressor is engaged. If your compressor is not coming on, jump the low side pressure switch to make the compressor come on and than the R134 will get sucked in to your system through the low side line. The proper way to do this is to put a/c system under vaccum for 15 minutes at least and watch for leak/gauges coming/loosing vaccum. Than pump R134 into the HIGH side valve with engine OFF.

SOURCE: starter 2000 maxima se

Firts disconnect battery. Remoce air filter box. You will see the starter right under neith the air box. You will see a rubber bute. Under the boot is a 12mm wrench size nut. Remove nut. There is a single wire connector. Unplug connector. There are 2 bolts holding the starter to the trans. One of them is pretty big.(19mm socket size ?) and the other is smaller. Remove them both and the starter will come out. Reverse install procedure. Good luck

Electrical problems with 2006 Nissan maxima

I would start with checking the computer for trouble codes.
Sounds like a bad connection in the dash wiring or key switch, but the trouble code might steer you in the right direction.

Nissan maxima keyless entry problem. vehicle will

sounds to me like you need a new ignition switch. not the ignition in which you put the key into but the switch that is mounted to the back of the ignition switch. there is a white round switch mounted to the back of the ignition cylinder. I thing it has a problem. so you don't need the while ignition cylinder, but the electrical portion of it only.

I can't turn the key in the ignition switch in my 2000 nissan maxima GLE

Put the car in neutral and step on the brake and turn slowly to the right. Anything? Shift from neutral back into park and turn the steering wheel slightly left and right while turning the key. Anything? Is this key a copy? Compare it to an original that you never use to make sure the cut and size is correct. You may need to go to the locksmith and get a new key cut off of the original key you don't use often, because a copy of a copy of a copy will never be as good as the original.
