Cluster is pretty much non serviceable. It's a circuit board problem that will have to be fixed by a cluster repair shop.
SOURCE: My gas gauges on my 2003 Pontiac Aztek will not
First check to see if you have any fuses related to ''gages'' thar are bad. You will have to find the wire near the gas tank connection that ''grounds'' the gage. When you disconnect the wire you can ''ground'' or touch it to the body...The gage should sweep from E to F when you do this,if the gage in the dash is good..If not you probably have a bad''sending''' unit in the tank itself..Better known as a ''float assembly.
SOURCE: how do i reset service light on 2001 pontiac aztek?
Before you re-set it, take the car to AutoZone or other similar store to read the code. That way, you know why the service light came on.
Then AutoZone can re-set it for you (all free)!
== or ==
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery for 10 minutes, or more.
When you re-connect the battery cable, the service light will have benn reset. But it will turn back on eventually.
Hope this helps!
SOURCE: 2003 pontiac aztek brake problem
I had a similar issue when i replaced the brakes on mine. Turned out that I had a bad caliper. Onc e i replaced that, it was fine. Also, when the car is not running, your brakes will "pump up" because the master cyl. is not operating
