Spark plug gap, on both 5.3L and 6.0L, both gap at .040"

Heres two wiring diagrams for the complete outside lighting,except the backup lights,this is for a 2007 GMC Acadia SLE, hope this helps. good luck.

the standard plugs are NGK bkr 6 equp, you can buy iridium ones (BKR6EIX) the gap should be 0.8mm

they come pre gapped with collars to prevent the electrodes from getting bent .platinum and iridium plugs will have the surface damaged if you were to adjust them with a feeler gauge,like old plugs had to be gapped. ac or ngk plugs come pre gapped in the box.
