Sunroof window runs and moves but wont ramp up and shut tight. Actually Fixed myself Removed Headliner and found motor. Turned Motor with allen wrench until window was closed. Then returned power to motor and window started working again.
SOURCE: operating lancer automatic transmission
Have you Had the transmission fluid checked? It sounds as if the transmission is slipping in these gears which would point to a fault within the bands. To have a problem like this repaired could cost as little as $200 or as much as $1700 depending on how much needs to be done. Was the replacement a second hand transmission? If yes then did you have a warranty period with it? Let me know and I will get back to you as i am about to seek out a manual for this.
Cheers
SOURCE: How do i manually close a sunroof for a mitusbishi
Depending on the year of your vehicle....
Earlier models had a sunroof wrench. The manual states that ..."the electronic sunroof system cannot be operated manually. The sunroof wrench that was used in previous models is not provided".
Now that may mean that if you had the wrench it could be operated manually.
I did find something else here :
NOTE: If there is a problem with the sunroof motor so that the
roof lid glass cannot close fully, use an Allen wrench to turn the
gear section of the sunroof motor to fully close the roof lid
glass.
Access seems to be just above the sunroof switch.
