SOURCE: where is the fuel filter
On all 3 engines, the fuel filter is the same in-line type of filter, and is located underneath the car, in the back, under the trunk. You will need 2 box wrenches to remove the filter, one to put on the filter to hold it in place, and one to put on the fuel line to remove the fitting from the filter. They are fairly simple to replace, but you will also need a drain pan to catch the fuel that drains out and eye protection to ensure you do not get fuel in your eyes (gloves are a plus too).
