You probably installed the abs sensor wrong and it is throwing a fault or damaged it broke a wire to the abs controler

Bad sensor in one wheel, they are part of the wheel bearing. Could also be a bad abs computer module, either way, not cheap.

Did you replace the brake pad sensor? If they have not been replaced then you will continue to see the dashboard telling you to replace the brakes.

SOURCE: abs light on

They had to disconnect the abs in order to change the pads so it set off the abs light. you can just drive for a while and it might go away or you can disconnect the battery for 10 seconds but be careful the car player might ask for the code in order to play it.

If the ABS lite is comming on, the module is detecting a problem in that system. There will most likely be a code in the computer. take it to your dealer and have it check. The most common problem i see in these is a failed speed sensor.

SOURCE: ABS brake light comes on.

No there is no reset, sounds like you have a bad ABS sensor on one of the wheels. Only way to tell is to get it to a brake shop or dealer to check it. Good luck dont forget to rate.

2006 TORRENT.NEW FRONT HUBS/BEARINGS, BRAKES/ROTORS MAY 2018. RECENTLY BRAKES CATCHING LIKE GOING TO LOCK UP. T/C LIGHT, ABS CAME ON. BRAKE FLUID LEVEL,PADS AND CALIPERS LOOK NORMAL AND ROTORS SMOOTH.

Would almost guarantee it is the rubber brake hoses. The bracket rusts on the ID which pinches off the hose and will not allow the fluid to flow back into the reservoir.

Abs and handbrake icons light at the same time

If the E-brake light is in fact the light that is on. Then you need to find the switch that is attached to the lever. That switch isn't opening when you release the brake lever. Grounding that wire turns the light on. So either the wire is grounded or the switch is broken or out of adjustment.

ABS brakes grunt, groan noise with brake pedal travel.

Joe it is common for the brakes to moan when they wear down and sometimes they will squeak, try replacing the front pads and lubing the shafts on the calipers install anti squeal on the back of the pads, the ABS device would not cause noise as they are just a ring with a magnet and the reluctor ring spins and the magnet detects the spinning of the reluctor ring, they don't even touch and are stationary in place where they are mounted. There is a possibility that the brake fluid is dirty and could cause the abs motor to groan but you would just have to flush the system, When you don't put your foot in it on the brakes it will make some noise even new, I have a 2008 ford ranger that makes the same noise and the brakes are fine. You will have to adjust your braking habits to stop the noise. You can change the pads and that will help but not for long, be sure when you are operating your brakes press firmly on the pedal until you stop. If the brakes make noise after you let up on the pedal then the caliper parts need to be cleaned and lubed, however it is not a safety issue.
