Car hestation when you press on gas

this does sound like a plugged fuel filter once removed see if you can blow thru it .

Has the engine light come on yet?

partially blocked fuel filter or clogged injectors. Good place to start. Also, does that truck have a coil for every cylinder?

Sounds like your transmission is burnt up,if its revving high and not going anywhere fast...

Try changing the fuel filter. It could be clogged. .

Sounds like maybe choke adjustment or accelerator pump adjustment or replacement required. Rochester 4 barrel carb , I presume.

The fuel system is borderline--fuel pump worn, plugged fuel filter, fuel tank not venting properly. Listen at the tank while someone turns on the key (no start attempt)--you should hear the pump run for a moment or two, then shut off. If it keeps running, the pump is likely worn out. Replace the fuel filter in any case. Pop the fuel cap loose after it starts to run poorly--does that give it another 15 miles? the tank vents through the charcoal canister--not the open air.

MAF bad

I would take a look at possiable damage to the PCM (powertrain control module)
