Vauxhall/Opel frontera indicators not working. Year 2000 I have a Frontera, Whilst driving the indicators stopped working, along with the hazard lights. All fuses appear ok. When the indicator stalk is pushed up or down there is 1 click, but they don't flash, Can anyone help me please. Thanks in advance Alan

Maybe the throttle body has a fault or not connected.
Check with an OBD reader for errors.

You didn't say whether auto or manual transmission? I believe an auto fluid level must be checked using diagnostic equipment, from what I have heard, and the vehicle manufacturer seems to have a habit of fitting a level plug in the manual transmissions but require filling to be done through the breather. Apologies in advance if I have that wrong. I have experience of Vauxhall/Opel GM models but not of the Frontera so far...

run the fault codes to find the problem with the abs system
because it brakes there may be a connection to the ECM that switches the power off

could be an issue with dirty terminals in the indicator stem. i had a problem with wipers on other side. it will have to be dissasembled and cleaned. bit of a job really. hope this helps :)

Hi does the petrol 2.2 operl frontera have an another cut off switch?

Which engine is this vehicle as no year or anything entered ,if the old single cam then its easy if i remember rightly the cam mark points to the top ,have a handbook on these cars somewhere in the yard ,and yes i have done this type many times but along with everything else from a citreon to a tata so i cannot remember them all like yesterday

take the vin number of the vehicle, and manufacturer date to a brake and clutch specialist shop to get the correct kit
the old clutch pressure plate and clutch plate as samples will guarantee a replacement kit

The selector switch is bad.On the transmission.
