I don't think this is possible. Your AFB engine requires an AFB-compatible ECU. The AFB code is specific to that engine design due to parameters of the engine itself. My 99 A4 has the AHA V6 30v engine, which can only be controlled by an AHA ECU. Changing the ECU does not change the engine itself, and trying to use an ECU from a different engine code will not work. If you want to use a different engine, you'd need that new engine's ECU, engine bay harness, accessories and mounts, and possibly even the chassis harness from the donor car. It'd be a tremendous amount of work.

I WOULD CONTACT LAST OWNER, ADDRESS WILL BE ON YOUR LOG BOOK V5,OR TAKE THE CAR INTO A OTHER DEALERSHIP AND SPEAK TO SOMEONE WHO HAS SOME MECHANICAL BACK GROUND....CHECK FOR A BLOWN FUSE,FUSEBOX IS ON THE DRIVERSIDE SIDE PANEL PRISE OFF WITH SMALL FLAT SCREWDRIVER.HOPE THIS WILL BE OF SOME HELP TO YOU......LOOK AT OTHER CARS LIKE YOURS IN THE DEALERSHIP FORECOURT AND SEE IF THEY HAVE STEERING WHEEL STEREO CONTROLS.(MAYBE AN UPGRADE OPTION FOR YOUR CAR) GOOD LUCK...NICE CAR...

tandard practice to change the oil on a clutch replacement. Was the replacemmiles it's covered, but it's not sounds like the gearbox oil need changing. You don't say how many miles it has done. Gear box oil is not usually changed in a clutch replacement. Did an Audi garage carry out the rlacement? It could be the cable needs adjusting to allow the clutch to have free movement
