SOURCE: 2001 Grand Prix. How do I clear tehe anti-theft security lockout?

The system only activates like this if there is a defect in the systems operation, you must have the security system scanned to see what is causing the unwanted activation. This is a dealer level repair.

Replaced ignition cylinder on 2001 grand prix do to attempted thieft , starts up runs without problem , but somtimes not security lite flashing .

You might have interupted the signal from the ignition to the Theft Deterrent Module when you changed the ignition.. It may be a loose wire or something worse. Read about it on this link.
