under the hood is a controller that either pulls on the acelerator cable by electric solenoid or a vacuum bellows..there is a switch on this acuator and it may be defective..
It depends on whether or not the drive train is actually going in to 4x4 mode. If the 4x4 is working properly, I wouldthinkit is just burned out light bulbs and not an issue with the operation of the system.
Unbalanced tires wont give a vibration all the time at low speeds.Have them balanced and check wheel bearings and ball joints.If it still persists then have the prop shaft balanced
Found the problem, it was the large round transfer case mounting.
