SOURCE: how do i remove a door panel of my 2005 nissan

If it is the rear door panel, you start by lifting, pulling upward, the door closer/arm rest.
Remove the electric window control and disconnect wire from switch.
Remove two hex/phillip head screws which are visible when you remove arm rest.
Remove a plastic screw on rear edge of door located about 6 inches below window glass.
Gently pry around edges of door panel to force plastic fasteners (approximately 6) out.

How do I install a drivers side door lock cylinder on a 99 Nissan Sentra?

Take the door panel off and remove the linkage and retainer for the lock cylinder. If you just need it rekeyed take that part to locksmith, so it will match the other cylinders and work with your key

The trunk of my 2005 Nissan sentra is locked and can't open even with key

may be manual release behind or under back seat and if not you may need to remove back seat and panal which should let you into trunk. once in there should be a release on the trunk inside to open it. most new cars have them to prevent someone from getting locked in trunk. after opened you may want to have lock system replaced or it could simply just need oiled....... hope this helps and good luck

96Nissan Sentra Drivers side door/trunk locks broken

my 97 had the same problem. if the key fits the lock and will turn the lock but the lock wont open the door then your problem lies in the linkage between the door lock cylinder and the locking mechanism.

if the key fits the lock and the lock wont turn at all, this is what happened to me, then your lock is seized. Ive actually seen this on alot of 95-99 sentras it seems to be some sort of design flaw. what I had to do was to replace the lock cylinder and locate a new key. the locks from a dealer are a little pricy so i went around to salvage yards, every nissan sentra from said year range door locks were all seized, I even tried the 200sx as its the same car but a 2 door, same problem. luckily i found out that the 94 nissan altimas have the same door locks so I dismantled the inside door panel of said altima and snagged both front door lock cylinders. i also got lucky as the key was still in the ignition, replaced both locks and got a key for about 20 bucks. depending on your problem you might need new lock cylinders
