Possibly worn synchronizing ring. First and second are the first ones to go. The synchronizing ring slows the gear down when the clutch is pushed and you push the shifter. Also, if it jumps when you put it in gear, even with the clutch all the way down, clutch cable may need adjusting.

before trying any of the costly repairs, try bleeding out the clutch slave cylinder, sounds like your clutch is not fully disengaging and there may be air in the clutch hydrolic lines.

I have the same car, the only solution to this problem is to tighten the clutch cable nut just as necessary until you feel that you are able to shift smoothly without forcing it, make sure you start the car to test for that.
You might have to remove the air intake in order to access the clutch cable.
If you tighten the nut too much, your clutch will feel light and you will have clutch slips. So basically keep trying until you're there. You can loosen or tighten the nut while the car is running, I'd recommend.

your clutch wheel is completely burnt out do not try to drive your car anymore if you do you will damage the fly wheel. if you have the experience you can order a clutch kit that comes with clutch wheel pressure plate and throwout bearing and install it yourself. if not then it is a very difficult job and you will need to have it worked on in an auto shop. for info and repairs for your car go to autozone.com sign up its free then click on repair manuals you will find all of your info there....good luck

If low add fluid and pump the clutch 25 times before starting up the engine. It should shift great after the pumping proceedure. If not the slave cylinder is at fault
