Is your car fuel injected or carbed? That question is of no value , it only lets you know where to start...The problem is Your car isnt getting any fuel from the tank........Look for a small valve near the fuel rail ( if it is fuel injected) sorta looks like a tire valve stem, and it works like one also......You could try bleed the system of air by pushing in on the little stem in the center of this while someone tries to start it. When you get nothing but fuel your cooking...Make sure you disconnect the coile wire "out of the Coil" before trying this...........If it is carbed, check you filter and then unscrew the fuel line from the carb just enough to see if there is fuel getting to the carb while turning over the eng. If none of this works,,,,,,,you may have a fuel pump problem , and if i am not mistakening that baby is in the tank...Let me know!!!!!!! RC
SOURCE: add tranny fluid on 2001 pontiac grand am?
I had the same problem and it got worse. I was losing fluid from the steel lines used to circulate the fluid through the rad. If this is where your leak is, trust me, you'll know. They start behind the bottom of the rad coming out of two sort of rubber lines. Both needed replacing on mine.
There is a filler cap, but it ain't easy to get at,lol. The ram air manifold has to be completely removed. Next, ( I hope you have access to a car hoist ) raise the car high enough to back off the overflow screw located on the passenger side of the tranny about 3 inches up ( find a website for the exact location ) Start the car. When up to operating temp, add fluid until it starts to come out of the overflow screw you backed off. Climb back down and tighten that screw! The computer controlled air flow will now have to be adjusted with one of those gadgets used for reading and adjusting the codes after you put it all back together or it will run like ****.

On the Transmission, there will be two plugs, one will be on the bottom of the transmission (drain plug) and one will be on the side above the halfway point (fill plug) just drain the fluid and top it up again..
SOURCE: where do you check trans fluid level and where do
There are only 2 dipsticks in the engine compartment, on that engine the oil dipstick will be in the front and the transmission dipstick will be in the back by the firewall (under the windshield) remember though unlike the oil level that you check with the engine off the tranmission fluid level needs to be checked with the engine running and in park
