I recently experienced the same issue. The problem was the pressurized fuel pump. Apparently this is a know issue with the Enclave. When I took my 2013 Enclave to a Buick dealer they replaced pressurized fuel pump ($450 labor and parts) without charging me.

I would advise to take it to a shop you trust and let them scan your vehicle for trouble codes. From there they can give you an idea as to why these messages appeared. : )

SOURCE: I replaced the rear breaks

Sounds like you may have disconnected or damaged one or both of the rear wheel speed sensors. Inspect the wiring going to the rear hub assembly, just a two wire harness.

SOURCE: traction control off, service traction control,

{: ) Your stabilitrak system may not work properly. The vehicle need to be scanned for trouble codes. In case you get a C0196 code, the recommendation is to reprogram the electronic brake control module. I hope that's the only cause.

SOURCE: Service Traction Control

There are no safety recalls listed for your 2008 Chevrolet Equinox.

The Traction Control/Stabiltrak systems may have a problem of their own. However it is also common for these systems to be disabled and the warning lamps turned on due to malfunctions in the antilock brake system, the engine control system, the transmission control system, or certain body control malfunctions.

Due to the fact that some of these possible causes of these WARNING lamps being illuminated, may present safety issues, or possibly cause severe damage to vehicle components, I would say that assessing the CAUSE and the NATURE of the failure is VERY urgent. Only after the cause has been determined by proper diagnosis, can anyone tell you the urgency of actually REPAIRING the problem.

With that said, I would like to add that it is NEVER a good thing to ignore warning lamps even if the initial cause of them being illuminated has been determined to be a non-safety or a non-vehicle-damaging failure. The main reason for this is because if you are ignoring the warning lamps, you will now have NO WARNING when someting does fail that could cause property damage, serious injury, or death.

It is always best to keep your vehicle in top operating conditions at all times for reasons of SAFETY of yourself as well as others, FUEL ECONOMY, and longevity of the HUGE investment you have made in purchasing your vehicle.

2009 buick enclave service stabilitrak

Just like every other warning light on your vehicle, when a warning light is on, a trouble code is stored in the computer to tell you where to begin your diagnosis. Get the trouble code read.

2012 Buick Enclave, dash reads Traction control off, service stabilitrak. Engine power reduced... why????

Engine power reduced... is the main problem ,this turned off Traction control off, service stabilitrak. Your vehicle has electronic throttle control , The Gas pedal has sensors inside which are connected by electrical circuits to the PCM - engine computer ,the PCM use's these inputs to control the throttle plate by use of a 12 volt DC motor . Plus there are position sensors on the throttle body for feed back to the PCM. When one of these signals is off The PCM will put the system into reduced power mode . This will also set DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes . Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop.

2009 Buick enclave and the stabilitrak light comes on when driving and the double brake symbol and slippery when wet the car functions fine

Most common issue is wheel speed sensor bad or reading poorly because wheel bearing is worn. GOOD scan tool will read ABS codes and tell you which wheel.

What caused the tracking control light to turn on?

If the system fails to turn on or activate, the StabiliTrakĀ®

light along with one of the following messages will be

displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC):

TRACTION CONTROL OFF, SERVICE TRACTION

CONTROL, SERVICE STABILITRAK. If you see these

conditions, turn the vehicle off, wait 15 seconds, and then

turn it back on again to reset the system. If any of these

messages still appear on the Driver Information Center
(DIC), your vehicle should be taken in for service.

I keep getting a message service stabilitrak

StabiliTrak Indicator Light: If the warning light does not come on then, have it fixed so it will be ready to warn you if there is a problem. If it stays on, or comes on when you are driving, there may be a problem with your StabiliTrak system and your vehicle may need service. When this warning light is on, the system is off and will not limit wheel spin. Adjust your driving accordingly.

This light will also flash when the StabiliTrak system is active. If the StabiliTrak system warning light comes on and stays on for an extended period of time when the system is turned on, your vehicle needs service.

The traction control part of StabiliTrak can be turned off by pressing and releasing the StabiliTrak button if both systems (traction control and StabiliTrak) were previously on. To disable both traction control and StabiliTrak, press and hold the button for five seconds.

Traction control and StabiliTrak can be turned on by pressing and releasing the StabiliTrak button if not automatically shut off for any other reason.

When the TCS or StabiliTrak system is turned off, the StabiliTrak light and the appropriate TCS off or StabiliTrak off message will be displayed on the DIC to warn the driver. Your vehicle will still have brake-traction control when traction control is off, but will not be able to use the engine speed management system.

If the StabiliTrak and/or Traction Control are not operating properly, I encourage you to take your vehicle in for inspection. A certified technician will be able to offer a more accurate diagnosis.

Could be a sensor malfunction. It's supposed to come on in limited traction scenarios
