I'm looking for a 2004 chevrolet Aveo LS brake proportioning valve. Can someone please help me!

There is a plentiful supply of replacement batteries for your car, from different makers as well.

You will need to get that from the dealer or buy a universal one that requires calibration and the making up of custom brake lines.

do not attempt any adjustments. replace the front brakes when they need it. if you try to adjust the proportioning valve you will lock up your back brakes and risk loosing control of your vehicle. you risk ruining the ABS system in your car which will cost you far far more to replace than a cheap set of brake pads. the front brakes do most of the stoping, that is why they wear out much faster than the back brakes. it is VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT attempt to adjust your brake proportioning valve.

Assuming the parklight bulb is OK.
Check the ground connection of the park light socket.

2004 Chevy Aveo LS, the OBD-II connector is against the panel closest to the driver's knees above the brake pedal.

My daughters' brand new 2004 Aveo kept having dead batteries(we were on vacation). Finally someone noticed the brake lights were on and it was determined to be a problem in the gear shift, good luck! The engine thermostat is plastic and melted off causing fluids to get into the pistons. We argued and argued and finally Chevrolet picked up the bill for the engine being rebuilt. Then, the windshield cracked with no point of impact, cracked all the way around front window. The fuse keeps blowing on the power windows and now oil light is on and won't go off. Had new oil filter and oil change done. Hate this car!
