the drivers side will roll up and down the driver side and the unlock will work and the unlock works on the passenger side as well as the roll down on the passenger side. the problem is with the driver side controlling the passenger side window and the passenger side controlling the roll up on it..i didnt understand ur answer and im not really good at the electrical stuff so if you could be more specific i would soooooooooo greatly apprciate it..thank you soooo soooo much :)

1. check fuses
2. if motors are good, more likely it is, it will be the windows regulator or windows switch, both tend to wear out the contacts over times. the windows switch pretty expensive, its run about 123.00 buck each and the regulator run 59.00 each. more likely will be regulator. if it not the windows switch is good. hope that help some, both not hard to replace and not easy.

Drivers door switches

  • Anonymous Jul 22, 2009

chrysler switches ground to make things operate and it switches it inside the drivers or what you call a master switch so all windows go through there first before actually going to motor

2005 Dodge Durango passenger window wont go down from drivers side switch

It sounds like everything else and the wiring is okay, only that button on the driver's switch is not working. I would try a new switch, if you see nothing wrong with the electrical plug for it when you take it off.
If that down wire was broken somewhere from the driver switch to the passenger door, I don't think the driver's switch would work for it either way, up or down. And same, neither would the passenger switch work. I think the button for down is not making contact somehow, and right in the switch.

the regulator assembly or even one of the tabs on the window that attaches to the regulator has broken. it can be a self repoair but if the glass broke then let the glass company do it.

Passenger side manual window 2000 dakota wont roll up or down.

The lift motors that I have done were straight forward. A few bolts, 1 or 2 connectors and put new motor on and tighten down. Good luck

Dodge 2002 dakota sport diver side power window will not roll up

Sounds like the stop for the window broke or the window traveled too far down and the gear no longer is engaged with the window rack gear you will know when you remove the door panel be careful with the panel clips the break easily

2007 Dodge Dakota power widow intermittent

Find yourself wiring diagrams an test the electrical circuits . Do you know how to use a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter ? How to take the door panels off an check power an ground circuits to the switches ? If not , your best bet would be to take it to a qualified repair shop. You probably don't know what serial data network is ?
The B+ power for the door locks & power windows comes from a circuit breaker ,not a fuse . Circuit breakers very really fail .
You probably have broken wire inside the rubber flex boot from the body to the driver door .
