How to bleed the brake system on a 1996Ford F-350

Hi. Thanks for your question. The Ford Superduty truck is known for its ruggedness. This truck is equipped for climbing the highest terrains or hauling the heaviest loads. To ensure that the truck operates in peak condition, it's important to maintain the brake system. The Ford Superduty is equipped with hydraulic brakes; there can be no air in the brake lines or the calipers. Air can enter the lines when you replace the master cylinder or perform brake maintenance. For more information, You can also visit https://www.reliable-store.com and download the entire workshop manual for better understanding. It has all the information along with the diagrams which are really helpful. Good day!

Why does my 2005 monte carlo idle high at stop signs/stop lights but not when i start it only when driving then when i shut the car off and start it again the idle is normal

check if the condition occurs when you have your foot on the brake at stop signs-stop lights. It may be an air leak in the brake booster that is allowing air into the manifold and altering the mixture to lean.

2001 Chevy blazer air conditioning blower is throwing very little air. what and how I can get it back to normal?

Is the issue there when using heat and air-con?
If so, then check the blower motor and fan switch for fault.

Check any cabin air filter if fitted for clogging.

If only an issue with hot air flow, then check the heater matrix hasn't bunged up.

If only a cold air flow, then check the air conditioning car evaporator in the cabin for signs of clogging.

Clogging can be more of an issue in pet owner's cars as pet hair readily clogs up these two components in cars fitted with no interior air cleaner element/filter.

My stereo in 1997 chevy caviler is turning off and on when turned up to a high volume. I have a sony xplod 52 watt by 4 channel radio. With two 6x9 sony xplod 50 watt rms and 300 watt peak power in the...

Most likely cause is heat. The clearances behind the radio are often not sufficient to provde the proper air coolling that the higher power radios need. The heat sinks on the rear of the radio require a certain amount of air flow to dissipate the heat generated under high load conditions. If you add summer heat to the equation, you can have the radio going into thermal cutout to protect it circuity.

There is a maintenance light on with an exclamation point. What does this mean

It reminds you to do your 'regular scheduled maintenance' of your car.
Example: 50,000-miles, 70,000-miles, 100,000-miles, etc. These warnings are already programmed in your car's computers to simply remind you so the car is kept in top shape, and peak performance.
In some cases, if this maintenance warning is ignored, the car may not keep its peak performance or even break down, having to be towed.
The concerned car's authorized dealer usual performs these regularly scheduled maintenance, but competent independent auto repair shops, such as Midas, are able to do these reagular maintenance as well.

2000 Ford Windstar is running too lean how do

The check engine light should be on--rent a scanner, read any code(s), and pursue to repair(s). The O2 sensor has direct control over fuel/air ratio. The other sensors in the air intake system modify these settings for peak performance under varying conditions.

Air conditioning works but not heat. blows out

At the radiator, drain and then flush with water then add 1 gallon of new antifreeze and top off with cool water. Now the cooling system will work.
If you have not performed routine maintenance on your cooling system - it will clog the heater in 10 years or less. Sometimes a bottle of radiator flush (purchased at any walmart or kmart) can clear the heater core - but you will have to run it with the heater on full heat setting for a few hours of driving.

Difference between an Air Filter and Air Conditioning filter

The air conditioning filter that your manual speaks of is known as a ''cabin filter'', it is much differant then your engine air filter. It filters the incoming air into your vehicles interior. So if someone has told you to replace your ''air filter'' they are more then likely speaking of your ''engine'' air fitler. You should check your engine air filter every oil change. If it shows signs of dirt, then replace it. Hope this helps =)
