Abs light on bmw x3 light on and car clicks but will not start

Might be as simply as a new battery. Remove battery from vehicle and bring it to a repair shop or Sears Auto Center (they are the battery, and charging system Kings) and have them load test the battery. If battery fails purchase a new battery . Once the vehicle is up and running take it back to them and have them test the charging system and determine whether the vehicle has battery drain .

Im assuming its the 4WD light and the ABS light that are on?
Start engine, turn steering full lock to left, then full lock to right. (4WDS should go out). Then drive car ashort distance , switch on and off again.

Check battery voltage as well as alternator voltage.

Fuse, wiring, starter, security, ignition switch. Just to name a few. It needs to be on a scanner to find codes. You can throw away several hundreds of dollars replacing good parts.
