My central locking is not working properly

My central locking works for few day and does not work for few days. When it is not working it doesn't make any noise. When I open doors manually, only driver's door opens and after starting the engine then the rest of the doors open as well. Can someone please tell me if replacing the central locking pump will solve the problem?

My 06 opel astra 1.6 petrol won't lock on fob. The button on the dash won't work. I have checked all fuses and the sensor for central locking has been changed and this worked only a few days.
seems like you have an intermittent central locking control unit ask some electronic chap to resolder the board for you as they do tend to have dry solder joints or suffer water damage.

Toyota matrix remote not unlocking car - battery is new
Check to see if your central locking still works on all doors and that you can also operate the driver's door central lock motor.
This can sometimes be an issue with the door lock motors themselves and not necessarily the key.

Hi i have Cherokee sport 2001 and central door locks not working, at the same time all passenger windows cannot be open only i can open from driver side console. few days back all the door locks start
Try unplugging the passenger door module from the wiring harness. Module may be bad. I see one screw holding it with tabs at the other end. You should be able to pull it up without removing the door panel. I see there are modules online for less than $40.

The central locking on my 2001 Renault Scenic is not working.
Your not going to like this but it sounds like you have a problem with your ECM, Electronic Control Module. This is not something you will be able to repair unless you have a detailed work station to remove the Sealing compound that surrounds the modules control board.

I own a vw passat 1997 and the central locking system failed to work suddenly....it has happened before and i realised it was the fuse! i replaced it and it only lasted a few days before the feature...
lift the passenger side carpet (rhd) under the carpet is the central locking ecu check the wires carefully as these have a big problem with corrosion check and repair as required

there is a sensor on the door lock in the door if it goes bad or falls off it will do that take the door panel off window up and look at the back side of the lock a small snap ring holds it on some even come unplugged

Alarm and central door locking.
Replace the alarm control box, it is usually under the driver seat, or in the extreme left corner of the dash. If the box under the driver seat got wet for any reason, expect bizaare things to happen; in any case, replace the box.
