Sounds like your catalic converter is trying to stop up. When you drive it this heats up and causes your car to vapor lock and quit running you let cool down and it will start back and run for a while. You can take it to a muffler shop and they will check it for free. This could be any number of issues but this is where i would start.Best of luck to you, Thank's for using Fix Ya.

2006 honda accord inertia switch location

All sorts of answers here, bad battery / immobiliser / keys need programming / caused by towing.

This;
The flashing green key is your immobilizer indicator. My recommendation (I am a certified honda tech) is take it to your local acura dealer and have them do a hard reset of the immobilizer and reprogram your keys.

It could also be a bad immobilizer itself. If it is a bad immobilizer, the tech will be able to tell through the diagnostic system used to program keys.

I gav? ? 2000 Honda accord green key flashing won't start. I need a code

If you have another key try it. If not. Check the fuse. It’s under the hood think it’s number 9 fuse. Or you can try to disconnect your battery for 20 mins. Sometime this works to reset codes.

My 1990 honda accord for some time has had the s(green) light blinking off and on, had it is solid S green and it seems as it won't shift gears, I don't have power like before? what happened?

The flashing s light means a transmission problem. The transmission computer is under the carpet on passenger side under where you put your feet. Pull down the carpet to see the diagnostic light. Turn on the key to count the flashes to get the code. Pulll a list of codes from the internet.
If your trans shifts properly if you manually shift it thru the gears, going from D1, D2 D3 but feels like it is starting in second when in drive at a stop, the computer is probably the issue, and can be repaired or exchanged for a good computer, lots of companies do this ,find 1 on the internet.

My car will crank and be running fine and then it just cuts off and wont crank back until you take the key out and put it back in a few times. then it will run for a few more mins. does this have anything...

That is a key recognition problem. It happens more often with keys that have been made, but it can also happen with stock ones. It could be the key or the lock on the column, or it could even be the ECU. I have dealt with this myself, and spent a lot of money before having to take it to the dealer anyway.

A green key shaped light is flashing on the dashboard. What does it mean?

The green key flashing means that the key you are use is not registered to the car. If you just cut a new key for your car(it has to be a honda key, not a walmat key) your honda dealer will have to program it to your car. If it's a old key, maybe the chip in the key might be bad, time for a new key. good luck.

I am having a problem with my 2004 Honda Accord Sport 2.2 Diesel- here is my issue-- in cold conditions the heater plug light flashes continuously and the engine looses power allowing only revs up to and...

do you plug it in at night and in cold weather? Sounds like a fuel problem. Check your fuel filter and add conditioner to your fuel. Hope this helps.
