Passenger side along the frame rail (unibody i know but where the frame would be) right up close to the motor. its a squeeze and push and pull type but be careful with the plastic line there not cheap and they are probably brittle.

Under vehicle, driver side, below seating area, front of fuel tank, mounted on chassis in fuel lin.

SOURCE: Replacing a 1991 cadillac sedan deville air compressor

The lines should be differant sizes.. Did you check it? Ther should be a diagram on the cover over your radiator showing you the set up.. Hope this helps..

SOURCE: Where is the fuel filter located on a 1996

Under the car on the drivers side just below the seating area in front of the fuel tank and mounted on the chassis in the fuel line. good luck

TO replace the fuel pump, remove the gas tank. When replacing the fuel pump also replace the strainer on the bottom of the pump and replace the fuel filter.

Check the fluid.Change the fluid and filter and see if it gets better.If it does then I would recommend a fluid transfer.This will transfer the old fluid and add new fluid.Hope this helps.Good luck.

How do i change a fuel filter on a 1991 cadillac sedan deville
The fuel filter is under pressure so you must be absolutely careful when changing the filter. If you do not release the pressure in a safe manner first, you will get sprayed with gas, possibly in your eyes or in my case shooting a 50 psi solid 3/8 inch stream of gas down my sleeve all the way to my arm pit in a matter of seconds. If you do not know how to change your fuel filter, for safety sake, I suggest having a mechanic do this. If you are determined to do this yourself, go to your local library to read the repair manual for your car. Library information is free. Mine is a 1991 Fleetwood, the filter is located on the frame underneath the passenger side. There are two connections, in and out. Plastic safety retainers hold the connectors on; remove the retainers one at a time. A half of turn and pull of the connector the hose comes off. A 10mm socket and extension to remove the retaining clamp. My suggestion is pay someone to do it or read up on how first, gas is flammable and you will be soaked in it, if you do not do things by the book.

1991 cadillac deville fuel problem
fuel pump relay is in engine compartment on drivers side under the flap the two relays that are together ,it is the bottom relay,,u cant by pass.if relay is good ,if it clicks when turning over and key on and off (it should click and go off if key is turned on) then use a test light and ground it find wires going to top of tank and probe wire have some one turn key on ,it should light up test light and go off ,if this happens ,replace fuel pump
