Did the light come on after bleeding?????????
or light on now and you want to bleed for some reasons.
the lamp on means 1 thing. (stuck on)
scan THE ABS.
did you? if not you will spend a fortune guessing, sorry....

the bleed procedure is only special if you opened the system in font of the ABS modulator.
can be special.
my jeep needs a special ABS tool to bleed the ABS
the book on this car, i just looked says.
why not tell if system was breached first.?
why make every one guess the history, !
tell the full story and magic happens, (no more lies , no more wild guessing on things that did not happen), yah!

The ABS brake system is bled in the usual fashion with no special procedures required. Refer to the bleeding procedure located earlier in this section. Make certain the master cylinder reservoir is filled before the bleeding is begun and check the level frequently.

you only need the ABS scanner to scan it.
the tool is not needed to bleed, like all JEEPS need. this is no jeep.
well, its a Japanese jeep sure.
why not answer line one above./???

The abs light on means that there is an abs fault which could be any of the following
speed sensor on a wheel faulty
sensor ring teeth missing
cracked wire corroded connection
abs controller or pump failing self test
leaking brake pipes or brake pistons
was the brake master cylinder reservoir low to empty of fluid before the light came on
what code did you get when you read the abs fault as it may not be fluid related and bleeding the brakes will not clear the fault

Testimonial: "I will check on them all."

why not answer the when did the lamp come on.
1: before the bleed, or service, or opening up lines.
    2:or after.
is this hard? It IS KEY TO THE ANSWERS ,to be correct.
we have no idea what you did. at all.

Soft brakes

You have a leak in the brake system, need to check the medal brake lines that run through the frame rail and goes to the back wheels, It is common for those to rust into towards the back. If lines are okay then check the wheel cylinders. If you are not low on brake fluid then you probley have a bad master cylinder.

I relaced all brake pads on 2003 buick bleed brakes very little air my brake peddle still spungy and anti brake light stays on

you must re-bleed the system properly, especially the back brakes. Bring your vehicle to a local autozone to reset the ABS light or check for an ABS fault code and post it on fixya!!

2001 Rodeo 6 cylinder. ABS light comes on when I start car. Have had the brakes check and they tell me there is no problem. Car has about 115,000 miles on original brakes but I am told it still has...

The ABS will come on and stay lit for a couple seconds when you start the car. It should then extinguish. This is normal operation. If it stays lit there is a problem and the ABS will not be available, although the brake system is still fully operational. Leave a message if this is not solved.

Replaced back brake pads, but the abs light stays on

probbably a sensor is deffective or a snapped wire on the front where it moves about with the steering.
Have a nice day.

ABS Light stays on, what does that mean? The brakes seem to work fine.

Hello. The ABS light is only alerting you to a possible problem with your Anti-Lock Brake system. It won't affect the operation of your brakes, but if the problem is still present/current your ABS system may not function in a panic stop situation. The computer checks the system and if a problem is found, the light comes on. If it was a one time failure the light may go out after a few driving cycles. If the problem continues and the light stays on then there is a problem somewhere in the ABS system.
